By Road; take the A22 from Purley towards Caterham. With Roke school on your right and a wooded area on your left take the next Right into Hayes Lane (signposted to Kenley station with a Co-op local on the corner) Cross the railway and take the first left into Kenley Lane, which becomes Valley Road. From the Station entrance, which is on your left, carry on parallell to the railway for one mile and you will see a school playing field on your left. 169 Valley Road is opposite this field, being the last bungalow on the right. There is ample parking in front of the house and a handrail up to the front door.
By Bus; the 407 comes out of Croydon along the A22 towards Caterham. Alight at the Rose and Crown go up old Barn lane and cross the railway by the footbridge. Walk up by the school railings following them round to the right at the top, cross the road and 169 Valley Road is the first bungalow on the left.
The 434 goes from Coulsdon to Whyteleafe via Purley Cross and stops, by request, right outside the door of the surgery.
By Rail; 169 Valley Road lies between Kenley and Whyteleafe stations. It is 3/4 ml from Whyteleafe station and one mile from Kenley station. Turning right out of Whyteleafe turn first right into Hornchurch Hill which becomes Beverley Road and then becomes Valley Road. As it becomes Valley road you will see Kenley school playing field on your right. 169 Valley Road is opposite this field, being the first bungalow on the left. From Kenley turn left out of the station building and walk parallell to the railway. Kenley school playing field will be on your left and this time it is the last bungalow on the right.
